Video conferencing in Fairhope and Daphne, AL

Last reviewed October 21, 2026

If you need somewhere on the Eastern Shore to take a video call properly — a door that closes, a room that is not your kitchen, and internet that will not drop halfway through — there are two addresses to know about, and they are not interchangeable. One is the only Eastern Shore workspace whose listed amenities name Zoom rooms and private phone booths. The other is the only one on the Shore naming fiber, and it includes conference-room hours in a $99 membership. Here is the honest version of what each one lists.

Downtown Fairhope: Zoom rooms and private phone booths

The Magnolia Avenue space (FHP-01) is the only Eastern Shore listing that names Zoom rooms among its amenities, and it also lists private phone booths and conference rooms separately — three different kinds of space for three different kinds of call. A booth for a stand-up you do not want the floor to hear, a Zoom room for a scheduled one-to-one, a conference room when there are people in the room as well as on the screen.

It lists high-speed internet, fully furnished offices with utilities included, an outdoor courtyard, and free parking in the adjacent public deck — which matters more than it sounds if a client is joining you in person after the call. Offices here are quoted per suite rather than published, so there is no rate to compare on. See the Fairhope listing.

Daphne: fiber, and three conference hours in a $99 membership

The US-98 space in Daphne (FHP-02) takes the other approach. It does not list Zoom rooms or phone booths. What it does list is high-speed fiber internet and a conference room, up to three hours a month included with membership — on top of open coworking from about $99 a month, the lowest published rate on the Shore.

For most people taking two or three scheduled calls a week, three hours a month is the whole requirement, and fiber is the part that actually decides whether a call goes well. Private-office members also get 24-hour access, which is the one that matters if you are on calls with people in other time zones. See the Daphne listing.

If the call is the product — client pitches, depositions, interviews, anything where being seen in a proper room is part of the job — Fairhope, for the Zoom rooms and the booths. If the call is just part of the week, Daphne, because fiber and three included hours at $99 covers it and the other $650-odd a month stays in your pocket. They are ten minutes apart, so plenty of people could reasonably use both.

What we deliberately cannot tell you

Neither operator publishes an hourly rate for a room, and neither publishes camera, display or capacity specs. We are an independent directory, not the operator, so we are not going to invent them — a guide that tells you a room has a 4K display and seats eight, when nobody said so, is worse than useless when you turn up with eight people.

What we will do is ask. Send the date, the headcount and whether anyone is joining remotely, and we will come back with the current room rate, what is in the room and whether it is free — on either side of the Shore, at no cost to you. The form is on this page.

Frequently asked questions

Which Eastern Shore workspace has a Zoom room?

The downtown Fairhope space on Magnolia Avenue (FHP-01). It is the only Eastern Shore listing whose amenities name Zoom rooms, and it lists private phone booths and conference rooms as separate amenities on top of that. The Daphne space lists a conference room but not Zoom rooms or phone booths. Further afield, the downtown Dothan workspace we track lists a conference room with a 55-inch Zoom TV, which is a different thing from a dedicated Zoom room.

Can I rent a video conference room in Fairhope by the hour?

Neither Eastern Shore operator publishes an hourly room rate, so we will not quote you one. Send us the date, the headcount and whether anyone is dialling in, and we will get the current rate and availability from the operator for you. That costs you nothing.

Is there a meeting room included with membership in Daphne?

Yes. The Daphne space on US-98 lists a conference room of up to three hours per month included with membership, alongside open coworking from about $99 a month. If you need more than three hours a month, tell us and we will ask what additional hours cost.

Which has better internet for video calls, Fairhope or Daphne?

Daphne is the only one of the two that specifically lists fiber — its amenities say high-speed fiber internet. Downtown Fairhope lists high-speed internet without naming the connection type. Neither publishes a speed figure, so treat that as the limit of what is actually known rather than a verdict.

I need somewhere today for one call. What are my options?

Neither Eastern Shore workspace publishes a day rate or an hourly room rate, so a same-day booking has to go through the operator. Submit the form with the time you need and we will call both and come back to you. Across the bay, the Mobile market has day passes from $20.

Do you charge for this?

No. Listing is free for operators and the concierge is free for you. If a workspace ends up renting to you, the operator pays us a referral fee — you pay us nothing, and we never mark up the operator's price.
